Article published in Ñawi: arte diseño comunicación (Ecuador). Proposes and develops the sociosemiotic concept of 'graffiti in transit' to analyze pieces painted on cargo trains in Guadalajara.
Unlike static wall graffiti, railway graffiti acquires a dynamic, transnational dimension by moving thousands of miles across Mexico, the US, and Canada. The article studies how train mobility configurations construct a decentralized communication circuit that redefines visibility, subcultural territoriality, and the ephemeral nature of urban art.
